SAH has cared for our childhood dog almost 15 years and have always given Sophie exceptional care. Since being patient's here with my own dog, this facility has gone above and beyond for making us feel welcomed, listened to, and help us to avoid uneccessary appts and bills if need be! We have been so thankful that they are able to text with us and even review photos.
We LOVE SAH!

It is clear that all 3 doctors are at this clinic because they love animals. They treat each pet that comes through their door with love and compassion as they would their own. If my dog hears the word "doctor" he runs to the door and wags hoping he is going for a visit. They take incredible care of them and put up with my frantic calls about every "bump and bruise" and are honest about the steps I need to take. There is no "need to see him/her" just to get a paycheck, they give advise for things to do at home before going in for a visit unless they deem urgent. Each time they have said "urgent", it WAS urgent.. There have been unfortunate emergencies, and the way they cared for Bruin during that time was priceless. They saved his life and took the time to ensure the surgery was successful and he would recover normally. There are not words enough to express the feeling I have about all 3 of these doctors, AND their compassionate staff. They are welcoming and actually CARE about the animals that they are caring for beyond any other vet I have used.

She goes above and beyond for all her clients! She saved Skeeter's life 3 times. She diagnosed him with diabetes November 2014. She started him on vetsulin. He did ok at first on it. January 2nd 2015, Skeeter stopped eating and going potty. She had me bring him in immediately. She helped him. About 1 month later he stopped responding to the vetsulin. She switched him to glargine. She, also, recommended that I start him on baby food. He had lost some weight and we needed to add protein to his diet. He gained the few pounds he lost and has maintained it for over a year! We do biweekly injections of B12 and adequan(arthritis) to help Skeeter make it to his 17th birthday! He turned 16 on March 31, 2016! Picture of Skeeter is attached. Jasper is a 4 month old Shichon. He is healthy happy boy. Jasper loves Dr Rachel!

My baby, Skeeter, was on deaths door 3 times. The first time Dr Rachel saved him he was down to 8 pounds and very lethargic. I called the office at 7:03am one day. They had me bring him in immediately. Dr ran blood work and told me she had a hunch he had diabetes. He, also, had a oral infection. She gave him antibiotics and pain meds. She called me the next day to check on him. Her thoughts were confirmed about the diabetes and had me bring him in to give him some insulin. We started him on vetsulin. All was well for a month. Skeeter got sick, again. She had me bring him in immediately. His body became immune to the vetsulin. She had to switch gears and put him on glargine. Miracle insulin! All was well for 3 weeks... this time it was not the insulin. He stopped eating. Dr Kuhn said this can happen with older diabetic cats. She has him now on a biweekly regiment of Adequan and B12 injections. We have done this for 2.5 years and I have an almost 17 yr old kitten! He is back up to 11lbs. He is running and jumping like he was 2! He has a younger brother, Jasper, who loves Dr Kuhn. Jasper loves play days at her office. He has many friends he can run, jump and kiss! She has the best staff helping her, too! Thank you so much Dr Kuhn!
